01 Overview
Symptoms of gastroenteritis may not indicate a specific agent. The number of possible etiological agents is very large and includes viruses, bacteria, protozoas. The isolation of the agent by conventional methods is difficult and takes a long time. Biospeedy® Gastroenteritis qPCR Panel allows faster results than conventional methods from stool and rectal swab samples and thus allows clinicians to treat patients correctly. Biospeedy® Gastroenteritis qPCR Panel is qPCR and RT-qPCR based method with 10 ^ 1-10 ^ 2 / ml detection limit, > 94% sensitivity and > 98% specificity.
