Bio-Speedy® Haemophilus influenzae Real- Time PCR Serotyping Kit serotype detection is based on the principle whose steps are
1) The serotypes B, C, D, E and F of the Haemophilus influenzae were identified by the kit targeting the genes “acsB”, “bcsB”, “ccsD”, “dcsE”, “ecsH” and “bexD”
2) When the HinA-Oligo Mix is applied in the clinical sample, the positive result observed in the FAM channel indicates that “H. influenzae serotype A “is positive in the sample; If positive result observed when HinB-Oligo Mix was applied, it indicates that “H. influenzae serotype B ” is positive in the sample; If positive result observed when HinC-Oligo Mix was applied it indicates that “H. influenzae serotype C ” is positive in the sample; If positive result observed when HinD-Oligo Mix was applied it indicates that “H. influenzae serotype D ” is positive in the sample; If positive result observed when HinE-Oligo Mix was applied it indicates that “H. influenzae serotype E & quot is positive in the sample; If the positive result observed when HinF-Oligo Mix was applied it indicates that “H. influenzae serotype F ” is positive in the sample. The negative result observed in the FAM channel indicates that these serotypes are negative in the sample.
3) When “HinA- Oligo Mix, HinB- Oligo Mix, HinC- Oligo Mix, HinD- Oligo Mix, HinE- Oligo Mix and HinF- Oligo Mix is applied to ” NC ” the negative results indicate no contamination.
4) Positive results (Ct ≤ 35) observed when the target-Oligo Mixes were applied to “PC Hin-SE” indicate that there is no loss of efficiency in PCR reagents and / or positive controls.
