01 Overview
Proper treatment and rapid recovery are possible by early diagnosis of sepsis. The chance of survival in sepsis decreases abruptly as the onset of treatment is delayed. If a patient receives the correct antimicrobial treatment in the first hour of diagnosis, the chance of survival is close to 80%; this rate decreases by 7.6% for each delayed hour. Biospeedy® Sepsis Sepsis qPCR Panel detect fungal sepsis agents, gram negative sepsis bacteria agents, antibiotic resistance agents and gram positive sepsis bacteria agents specifically and allows clinicians to promptly and accurately treat patients. Biospeedy® Sepsis qPCR Panel is qPCR and RT-qPCR based method with has 1 / ml detection limit, > 97% sensitivity and > 98% specificity for blood culture samples. Biospeedy® Sepsis qPCR Panel has detection limit of 10 ^ 1-10 ^ 2 / ml, > 82% sensitivity and > 98% in the blood sample.
